Race Method

1. The competition is conducted in team. Racing Teams must conduct the competition with information provided by the Organizer in specific period of time. Team of final highest point will be the champion.
2. There will be three champions in “Open Category” & “Corporate Category”: “Chase Champion”, “Challenge Champion” & “Overall Champion”, corresponding to the team with highest “Final Total Chase Score”, “Final Total Challenge Score” & “Final Overall Score”. There will be “Overall Champion” only in “Inclusion Category”.
3. The entire competition area is divided into a few “Regions”. Racing Teams have to design their own routes of finding “Chase Points” and completing “Challenges” in different “Regions” with the information and hints provided by the Organizer.
4. Each Racing Team will collect a “Chase Point Hints” at Start Point as follows:

   ＊Please note that "Riddle" in the “Chase Point Hints” will be in Chinese only.
5. Racing Teams have to guess the Chase Point location from the “Riddle”, then find the Chase Point staff according to the “Staff Location”. The scores of each “Chase Point” and “Challenge” indicate their difficulties.

Scoring Method

1. “Chase Score” will be given at the Chase Point when a team arrives with all members present.
2. “Challenge” will be provided after the team has gained “Chase Score”, and “Challenge Score” will be given if the “Challenge” is completed.
3. Besides “Chase Score” and “Challenge Score”, “Bonus Score” and “Penalty” are included in the calculation of the Final Scores in the competition. After calculation, the Final Scores will be used for ranking.
4. All scores will be marked on the “Results Record Card” by Staff.

Total Scores

1. “Total Chase Score” = Total “Chase Scores” obtained during the race
2. “Total Challenge Score” = Total “Challenge Scores” obtained during the race
3. “Overall Score” = “Total Chase Score” + “Total Challenge Score”

Bonus Scores

1. Method of gaining “Bonus Scores” will be disclosed on the Event Day.

Penalties

1. Team should arrive at the Finish Point at or before 3:30pm on Event Day. Otherwise, 10 scores will be deducted for per 5 minutes late. Per 5 minutes or part thereof. For example, 20 scores will be deducted for 7 minutes late. (Attention: If the team is not able to arrive at the Finish Point before 4pm on Event Day, the team will be disqualified.)
2. In case of losing number bib during the competition, scores will be deducted from the corresponding team and a new number bib should be re-issued at the next Chase Point.

Final Scores for Ranking

Per “Total Score” plus “Bonus Scores” (if any) and minus “Penalties” (if any), per “Final Score” will be ranked. If there is more than one team which obtain the highest “Final Score” in the same category, the team which arrives earlier at the Finish Point will be the champion of the corresponding category.

1. Final Scores for ranking in “Chase Champion”
   “Final Total Chase Score” = “Total Chase Score” +” Bonus Scores” – “Penalties”
2. Final Scores for ranking in “Challenge Champion”
   “Final Total Challenge Score” = “Total Challenge Score” + “Bonus Scores” – “Penalties”
3. Final Scores for ranking in “Overall Champion”
   “Final Overall Score” = “Overall Score” + “Bonus Scores” – “Penalties”
